Felicity Quirk
Felicity Quirk is a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), and holds PsyBA Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
Since 2000 she has worked in clinical settings for government and non-government organisations. Felicity has held leadership positions in Canberra and Melbourne including at Berry Street Take Two, Child At Risk Health Unit (CARHU), Australian Childhood Trauma Group (ACT Group) and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Felicity, along with her co-therapist Suzy K, aims to provide exceptional care for her clients working collaboratively in a transparent and respectful manner.
How Felicity can help:
Felicity is experienced in providing child, adolescent and adult mental health assessment, therapy, consultation and training. She has a special interest in attachment disruption and/or trauma. Felicity is able to provide Neurosequential Model of Therapeutic (NMT) Assessments, planning and implementation of this knowledge to create specialised interventions for those who have experienced abuse and neglect. In addition, Felicity has a focus on working with clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Felicity’s work is informed by an understanding of neurodevelopment, is client centered and family and system inclusive. All clients can expect a warm and non-judgemental approach to therapy.
Felicity provides Clinical Supervision including towards endorsement with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. She delivers training for carers, students, professionals and organisations on various topics including Child Development, Attachment and Trauma Theory (including the Neurobiology of Developmental Trauma). The Child Trauma Academy acknowledges that Felicity has completed NMT Training Certification through the Phase II level.

Felicity’s work is informed by a number of Therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Life Story Work, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
